Close to Chatelet huge metro sation with several RER and metro lines crossing at the center of Paris. Metro line 1 leads both to the Champs Elysees and La Defense, and to the bubbling Bastille area, behind Le Marais.

- a well equipped modern kitchen with a refrigerator+freezer, an oven, electrical burners (induction), a washer-dryer, a dish-washer, ample cupboards, the usual kitchenware and tableware, a table and stools
- a modern bathroom with a bathtub, shower nozzle, and a toilet

Availability

Starting October 2008, available preferably for long term stays - minimum 6 months -
Short stays possible sometimes between 2 long term rentals.

LONG TERM RATES

Monthly rate including utilities : 1,750 euros

Additional costs :
- electricity (depends on monthly usage : approximately 60 euros per month for 1 person, 90 euros per month for 2 persons),
- telecommunications / access to Internet
- one time final cleaning fee (50 euros),
- renter's insurance premium,
- one time broker's fee payable upfront
- taxe d'habitation : in full in case the rental period is 1 year or more,
otherwise pro rata temporis share.

Refundable safety and key deposit : 2 months of rent

2008 SHORT TERM all-in rates

All-in rates cover : the rent (for peaceful/quiet use of the apartment), the broker's fee, the final cleaning fee, utilities, electricity up to 2 euros per night, and use of the telephone with a prepaid card without any communication charging the owner's telephone account - if that would happen the cost would be deducted from the refundable safety deposit .
if needed a DSL high speed connection to Internet can be installed with a two weeks notice, there are a few Internet cafes nearby.

Linen and towels are provided and belong to the flat, cleaning products (soap, washing tablets or powder, dish-washing liquid, etc..) and some other basic consumables (oil, salt, sugar, etc..) are provided in limited quantities for renter's convenience. Upon renter's departure similar quantities should be ready for use by the next renter, at departing renter's expense.

High season short term all-in rates for up to 2 persons :

- 7 nights :
high season : 1,060 euros (151.39 euros per night)
low season : 921 euros (131.57 euros per night)
- 14 nights :
high season : 1,750 euros (124.96 euros per night)
low season : 1,511 euros (107.93 euros per night)
- 21 nights :
high season : 2,540 euros (120.94 euros per night)
low season : 2,191 euros (104,33 euros per night)

In each case :
- a refundable safety deposit, payable upon arrival, will be required to cover possible damage in the flat, or the loss of a key. 1,500 euros or 2,000 USD is an adequate deposit.
- a non refundable firm reservation down-payment will be required before arrival.
- electricity is included up to a reasonable usage (average 14 euros per week)
- telephone can be used with prepaid cards for outgoing calls.
